Lockdown

During this Holy Week, most of the World still under quarantine and lockdown.

Residents of the poverty area got affected the most. Without electricity, drinking water, and limited food, people are forced to stay in a small wooden shed housing. With temperatures over +35 conditions are unbearable.
No school, markets or businesses
open, families just trying to survive, the real fight for life, without even virus. Kids are not allowed to be outside and in most cases just stick heads outside, looking for an escape
from the heat, but forced to remain in extremely unsanitary conditions and breathe toxic waste air.

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)

KIDS & FAMILIES NEED YOUR HELP

March 26 — Cebu province is now under enhanced community quarantine or lockdown to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus.

As the enhanced community quarantine continues, people are forced to stay at home to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Especially affected are families from squarter communities, hot toxic air, no drinking water and now no ability to go outside in an attempt to find food.

Small spaces that are meant for a family of four can house as many as three families, with households built on top of each other. In such a cramped space, social distancing is virtually impossible. If the virus ever appeared here, the results would be catastrophic.

Now more than ever kids in need of even basic food and vitamins.

Poor students not only receive the worst education, but they fall victim to lifestyle, crimes and health issues that hinder their ability to learn.

Poverty and its many disadvantages can handicap learners before they even begin school and lead them to fall behind classmates or even quit school in frustration.

You can help a child living in poverty to receive an education in many ways. One way is through our dedicated individual child sponsorship program. Sponsorship provides an underprivileged child with basic and education-related necessities such as food, clothing, healthcare, school supplies, and uniforms, etc.

* Our core values and operation with the goal to dedicate 100% of all contributions to a direct cause.

* Our mission is to help poverty and province kids to attend school, with the goal of graduation.
